Missional - how the congregation is involved in God's mission in the community around the congregation

Liturgy - how the congregation worships

What have these to do with each other?

Lent 2C Gospel - Luke 13:31-35

As Jesus was teaching in the towns outside of Jerusalem, some Pharisees said to him, "You should leave here because Herod wants to kill you."

Jesus replied, "Go tell this fox to pay attention. Today and tomorrow I'll be casting out demons and healing. In three days, everything will be done. So today, tomorrow, and the day after I have to go my own way, for a prophet cannot be killed outside of Jerusalem

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem! Who kills the prophets and stones the messengers. How many times have I wanted to gather your children as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But that was not your wish. Look how you neglect your own house! I'm telling you that you will not see what I am until all of you cry out, 'Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.'"
